According to the Health & Safety Executive work-related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WRMSDs) statistics, in 2016 8.8 million work days were lost in the UK due to work related musculoskeletal disorders and the largest percentage of WRMSDs were due to lower back pain.
Most lower back pain issues are a result of poor posture and unfortunately are classed as nonspecific, however posture related back pain can be helped with the right type of exercise.
Posture@Work deals with posture related musculoskeletal issues whih affect organisations and their employees.
This is achieved through group personal training sessions which are carried out in the work place and include targeted training specifically aimed at posture.
My training sessions are a combination of functional fitness training and Pilates so you receive a comprehensive method of training.
This not only helps to alleviate some of the more common musculoskeletal problems associated with working at a desk for prolonged periods of time, but also help to prevent these injuries from occurring.
Posture@Work is a 6 week progressive training program carried out in your work place, all that is needed is a reasonably sized room large enough to accommodate up to 10 clients.
I come into your work environment with all the necessary equipment to not only train your employees but also advise on desk ergonomics and complete desk assessments if necessary.
Although training is carried out in 6 week blocks the progressive nature of the training allows for the sessions to be carried on a continuous basis.
In house training sessions to groups of up to 10 clients at a time.
Each client will have access to my online personal training platform
